cucumber's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a nice of feminine bonding and itching i know, i know, i know. it's just that every day this week either kendra or xenia has been at my house (and it was fun.) anyways i didn't get to update, and i'm only here now because i just fell asleep for 5 hours and now i can't get back to bed. last night xenia dumped gavin so i, good friend that i am, invited her over to my enchanting eden filled with pot and girl talk (okay fine, stoner talk.) while she was on her way over i decided to spruce up the place a bit and we could sit and have good times like it was a girly movie about friendship staying til the end. you know how it is. i got out my lava lamp, nailed my black light to the wall, and set upon hanging up some christmas lights. after careful deliberation, the small white lights with a motion/blinking control were deemed "trippiest" and given top honour. when xenia came over she had gotten over gavin on the bus ride over, and all my decorating was for nothing. oh well, we still had a great time and got so stoned, oh man. when she left, kendra called me and bad mouthed colin for a while. i'm not sure what to do with this sudden burst of friendship from kendra, i guess when i consoled her over the phone when she was depressed she started to really like me or something. i dunno, it's funny. she's really cool and fun to be with, but whenever she and i are alone together half of the time it's just an awkward silence. ah well - at least right now there's plenty of funny things to say about colin (lying motherfucka.) oooh ooh ooh yes, and be sure to check out this, it's a collab project being started by a few desigers and i. we were all talking on the be original message board when we sorta came up with this idea to do a designers-collab. i'm working right now on making a php auction thingy so that we can auction off the designs each month. actually, adam did all of it and i'm trying to make it look pretty. sigh. it'll probably only raise $2 to $5 per design, but when all of the designs are sold it'll amount to a tidy sum probably. i think the plan is to give it to charity and then to diaryland, every other month (e.g. twice as much for diaryland as they are coolest.) since this month's one is a christmas/winter theme, we're giving it away to toys for tots or something. all night long i've had winter wonderland stuck in my head. 06:10 - 22 November 2001 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
